When it came to producing the new charter brochure for the 65 ft Motor Yacht "Wando Lady", managing agents Golden Black Sailing knew that top quality images would be a vital ingredient in its success.

Recently completely refitted and now offering luxury charter from the south west of England, the requirement was for a wide range of photographs to convey the elegance and style of this pedigree motor yacht.

As an experienced marine photographer, specialising in traditional yachts, Peter Phelan of Prophoto Marine was therefore commissioned for the assignment.

Working closely with David Triggs of Golden Black the shoot was carefully planned in advance and props and models arranged.

Being winter and with limited hours of daylight available, the shoot took place over several days, and took advantage of a suitable sunny break to complete the shots of the yacht under way.

All images were taken digitally and, after each session, proofs were uploaded to a dedicated password protected area of our web site.

The clients were therefore able to see and make an initial selection of images from the comfort of their offices. These low resolution photographs were used by the graphic designer in producing the brochure "visuals" and high resolution versions were ultimately supplied on CD in Mac/PC dual format.

In common with all images supplied by Prophoto Marine, they were correctly colour profiled and, since they were intended for high quality litho print, supplied with 3M Matchprint digital proof, to ensure colour fidelity in the final brochure.
